The app

Simply PDF works on your Mac. It never sends a document, its file name, its contents or anything about it to us or to anyone else.

The app goes online for two things only:

• Activating a key. It sends the key and an identifier for your Mac, so the key can be tied to that one Mac. Nothing else.
• Checking for updates. It asks whether a newer version exists.

Buying a key

Payment is handled by our payment provider, who receives your payment details and email address. We receive your email address so we can send your key and help if something goes wrong. We never see your card number.

This website

This site counts visits and which buttons are pressed, so we can tell which pages help people. It does not collect your name or anything you type, and it never sees your documents.
